card holder question

I purchased the reverse card holder then returned it.. it fit 3 cards at best if you want it to keep it's shape, any more it will eventually stretch out the canvas and will look "loose" when it's empty or has less cards.

For a budget I'd suggest the Gucci card holder, similar price.

I sold my YSl card holder because I found the YSL logo to be in the way and was worried it'd end up scratching my things inside my bag.

I bought a chanel classic card holder and it fits a LOT - but I'd suggest you DONT go with the new caviar/grained BLACK card holder - lots of quality issue with the leather splitting.

Very insightful!

I only use my YSL cardholder in my small uptown pouch or a bag with a inner pocket because I didn’t want my phone to scratch the metal logo. I’m okay with using the YSL cardholder for a single purpose.

I have considered purchasing the LV card holder with the fuchsia back! Just for very minimal 3-4 card use in my nano noe or mini pochette tho! It's flat!

Serious question. How do you all manage to carry so little it fits into a card holder? I have tried and failed. Put as many cards as possible on my phone but still need credit, debit, Id, insurance cards at minimum.

I like the reverse card holder but too small for me. I prefer the cles (can pack it full), business card holder, coin card holder, or the ysl coin card holder which is smaller than the lv but holds as much.

There are times when I'm running to the gym or to the grocery store. My reverse card holder contains my driver's license, debit card and a credit card. For a quick trip, that's sufficient! Now I did just buy the slim purse, so those times when I want to carry more cards. Otherwise I've been getting by with those 3. Maybe due to COVID since I'm not sure I could've done that before.

I only carry my license, credit card, and insurance card, so I rarely need anything larger than a card holder. I keep a tote bag with various items in my car, that I rarely take out. It has a wristlet in it with other misc. cards, extra cash, etc.

If I'm using a card holder, it's usually because I know I'm only popping out for a short time and I know exactly where I'll be going. If that's the case I only tend to carry my debit card and my license, which of course means I only need a simple card holder. I can then fit a folded bank note in the centre compartment if I want to. I don't have an insurance card to carry, but if I needed that or if I wanted to bring a credit card it would comfortably fit in the centre.

If I'm out for the day or I'm going to several different stores, I'd be much more likely to take my full wallet, which is either a Brazza or a Zippy and has space for all my cards.

I use my cardholder everyday. Easy and convenience. But everyone is right, you can't put in 2 cards on each side otherwise it will stretch the canvas and hard to put out (it tight). However, I did put 2 cards on each side though and middle component I have some cash and my health insurance card. Yes, it does show some stretching, but am okay with it.

I know this thread is old but i am thinking on purchasing the reverse card holder, how’s your card wear and tear? im leaning towards the reverse coz i feel like it is more flexible than the regular one

After almost 2 years, my card holder still looks brand new, but I don’t use it everyday. I only use it when I carry my Felicie or mini pochette. I really do love how slender it is because it really doesn’t take up much space at all, especially in mini bags! I highly recommend it; it’s just so stinkin cute!!

I’ve been using mine daily for a year now and it still looks new. I only carry my license, 1 cc, AAA card, insurance card, and 1 or 2 bills in the middle compartment. I use my cles to carry all the other cards I might need when I go out.

Thank you for your reply. thats exactly i was thinking to do. i have few cards like my kids id so im thinking to just put it in my key pouch. i was thinking about the chanel card holder as well but its a bit bulky comparing to the lv reverse card holder so im still on the fence about that
