Hi I'm looking to get a compact card holder to be able to fit my mini bags and I'm interested in getting these. My question is that since there's only one card slot on each side, it can only fit two cards in total? Or can I squeeE another card so two on each sides making it four? Anyone who has this card holder can share their opinions?

I have this and I wouldn't personally put more than one card in each of the slots because it would stretch it out over time, however there is also a centre compartment where you can store another two or maybe three cards if you need to.

I ordered the reversible card holder - and to me it did not seem to be useful at all.

One card on each side & one in the middle would be max. capacity (would fit without forcing them aggressively to go in)

you could put 2 cards in the middle compartment if you'd really squeezed them in there - but it was an absolute horror to get them in and out
--> the canvas is so so stiff and if you store too many cards, you would rub the glazing off

I could not use the item, returned & got a Chanel classic flat card holder (which of course is leather and costs a lot more but is waaaay easier to use and holds easily 5 of my cards, very comfortable. I would probably not even have a problem putting in some more in the middle and double up on the sides

I am not a fan of the LV cardholder. It has limited space and stretch. I do have the business card holder and it’s similar in style to the Rosalie without the zippered coin section.

If you really need a cardholder, I highly recommend YSL. For the same price, you get a leather cardholder that can hold way more cards and has the beautiful YSL metal logo.

I'd echo what those above said. I actually bought this card holder and returned it because mine was defected (really horrible stitching with and the canvas was ruined in one area.. sort of like someone got alcohol on it??).

I love the way the piece looks, but after having it in my possession for 2 days I decided to return and not exchange it because it just didn't seem like it would be practical. I'd much prefer using my key pouch to hold the cards I need to carry with me :)

I absolutely love my reverse card holder! I’ve had it for a little over one year, and it still looks beautiful!! I put 2 cards on both sides, and a couple of business cards in the middle compartment; it hasn’t stretched out at all. However, I don’t leave any cards inside when it is not being used. I also have the YSL card holder, but use the LV reverse much more often!! I think you’ll love it!!

I agree. No issues with mine either. It holds what it’s supposed to perfectly well, and looks lovely!

I prefer the Gucci and YSL cardholders bc they can fit 2 on each side. But I do have the LV daily cardholder. I like that it goes down into a deep V shape which allows putting 2 cards on each side as well. I just stagger the height of the card, so they’re easy to grab, and they stay put too. I’ve been tempted to buy this reverse one, but I haven’t bc I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable putting more than one card on each side. There is an empriente cardholder that’s much more flexible though.

I'm glad that the both of you love the item

what about getting cards in and out, @Her_Majesty & @boyoverboard ?
Is it easy to actually use the card holder - or is it somewhat a fight, close to a workout because of the canvas stiffness, like it was for me?

No, not at all. All LV SLGs with card slots are typically very stiff when new, but it never takes very long for them to loosen up in my experience. I don’t remember having any issues getting cards in or out of this item.

I’ve had no issues with stiffness at all! It is a tight fit, but I’ve never had to struggle to get my cards in or out. I’ve definitely struggled more with the leather YSL card holder than with the reverse canvas!

I love my LV cardholder. I love that it is stiff. It makes it easy to find in a bag and really protects the cards well. You could squeeze two cards on each side but I really wouldn’t recommend it. The natural indentations of the credit card numbers /RFID chips would rub on each other. I have a personal credit card on one side, my corporate card on the other and two pieces of ID in the middle pocket. I don’t think the middle slot is meant to it to be ‘opened’ wide. Sliding cards in the slots is easy and the slim profile makes it convenient as it fits in every mini bag, pockets of your jeans, jackets etcs. Hope you find that helpful.
