I really recommend the Boulogne in noir, I love mine! Very versatile and easy to use crossbody and shoulder with or without the chain. The strap options are fantastic and are the best design I’ve seen yet from LV (easy to adjust in a snap and no buckle digging into awkward places). I also love using the strap and chain on other bags. Good luck deciding!

I don^t like the PM, I have sold both the Mono and the Empreinte after a few weeks. The clasp was horrible for me to open. I like practical bags for every day.
I vote for the Boulogne! The zipper is very practical to open and the bag isn't so often to see like the PM and I think it's a very special bag!

I have and love my PM, but have you considered an Odeon? I have an old style Odeon PM that I love enough to consider new(er) style Odeon with black trim. Just a thought…

I haven’t been posting because I have been living at the K consulate trying to get my kid a student visa (total nightmare) but now I am more savvy to this question because I swear I saw like 5 people with this bag and it’s gorgeous!!! It’s not bulky at all and it’s very feminine. The lines are very slick and hands free. Now I am even tempted!! Right after my nano noe, this might be next!

I just bought the Boulogne for my birthday today! Got it in vachetta since I don't wear very much black anymore except for a black coat in the winter, and my palm springs mini has the black leather so I felt the bags would be somewhat redundant as they carry the same amount of stuff, generally.

So I did a complete 180 and did not purchase either of these bags. I saw the Boulogne and was not as impressed in person. My mother in law actually persuaded me to go outside the box and buy something I love, whether its every day functional or not.

I went with a medium Prada Galleria in Cameo Beige. We were in Italy and just could NOT beat the price there vs. buying it in the states. And to be honest, it was a close call between that or the Gucci Horsebit 1955 in GG canvas.
