Can’t decide - tweed mini or white mini?!

The tweed is lovely, but your concern about pilling is real. Having had a Chanel White Reissue, I'm with Grande Latte on this. In addition to color transfer possibilities, in my experience Chanel's white does discolor. As ccbaggirl89 suggests, wait for something darker.

I agree with the others. White reissue looks stunning and suits you really well, but as someone who experienced discoloration on my white goatskin 19 I advise against it.

Thanks for chiming in with such logical and practical reasons! I got it in the end so my logical side was overruled by my emotional side dammit. @MillStream sounds like you also have a white Chanel as well! Gosh, I hope I didn't make the wrong decision!

@Olgita I heard that Chanel white can turn yellow. Will keeping it in the dustbag and box help??? My SA said I could consider getting it "professionally protected" at a bag spa. Have you heard of people doing that before? Again, so sorry to hear about your white C19! Gosh...

If you worried about color transfers then wait for a darker color. But I added this reissue mini recently, it’s the perfect white for me, heavenly milk color. I love mine so it’s a personal choice.

We're bag twins now! This is from 22K so I was so surprised to still see it in the store on Sunday. Congrats on getting your piece too. It looks divine!!! (but then again, I am clearly biased!)

Yes. I still have it in my collection. It's a caviar white jumbo, I just cannot bring myself to wear it. So it stays pristine clean in the box! Arghhh...I thought about selling it but the prices keep going up so I can't and I won't.....

White will show scratches and scuffs very easily. Even if you're careful, the stitching will yellow over time too with sweat, oil, and basic handling. What will you do then?

Go for a saturated color. I'm even happy with beige. I like black, grey, navy, red (very much), and beige. But white is just so hard to maintain. There's no point.

I’ve never had a mark not come out with leather cleaner

You made a great choice with the mini reissue. My mini reissue is one of my fave bags but it’s in tweed and fortunately, I haven’t had issues with pilling yet. I also don’t have issues with my 19 in white (no discoloration and I’ve been able to wipe it clean).

I used to keep my light coloured caviars in the box and not wear them but I do feel they are not that hard to maintain
I wear carefully and I inspect and spot clean clean with a delicate leather cleaner and it’s fine
I’ve never had a mark not come out with leather cleaner

This gives me so much hope! Think I'll do that too. Inspect after use and just clean it immediately if I see anything! Thanks for sharing!
