Hermes has only reached Cartier’s level in the last 30 years, and Chanel within the last 5?
In the 70s and 80s, they did make a diffusion line which overall cheapened the brand.
But Cartier bags from 1910 to 1940 still routinely sell for between 10k to 50k… A Belle Epoche matron or flapper would never have dreamed of being caught without her Cartier bag, especially for evening.
Hermes was only for luggage and equestrian pursuits, Chanel was hats.

I guess "FOR HER" means for women? Which women? Different markets for different luxury goods. Influencers and Kardashians aren't Christine LaGarde etc...
