Hey girls! I checked into all the suggestions and I think I like the Bottega and Chanel the best, and also the Ferragamos. I think I'm going to start with a bag that I can also carry on my shoulder but not too big first, and here're a few that I liked:

I guess I didn't realize that Bottega is more expensive than LVs on average. But I really like the woven leather details.

I also like the quilted leather of the Chanels. Does Chanel only sell in their stores? Can you buy it anywhere online?

The LV you have mentioned is a bowler bag - so that means u can't carry it on your shoulder for sure (you can kind of tell from the picture alone, but I am confirming since I saw it at the store the other day) best you can do is put it on your arm - won't go over the shoulder.

From my knowledge, Chanels don't have an authorized online dealer, you can try ebay - but that is very very risky, especially if you don't know much about the brand, not to mention the Chanel stores won't authenticate things for you either.

I have 2 recommendations to throw in -
The LV Passy GM can fit over the shoulder - A personal favourite of mine

I actually took the plunge and ordered this white motorcycle bag on Overstock:

I had a 10% coupon and that made it $800. I just can't pass on a deal like this. I think I'll use it as a casual bag to use on weekends. I just hope it's authentic!

It looks like Chanels are not sold online anywhere. I live in Central Ohio, probably have to check out a SAKS or something.
