Hi, have been thinking about a Roxy for a little while (I do seem to spend an awful lot of time thinking about bags) and was wondering if the roxy can be worn over your shoulder? I am not really a crook of the arm type girl and am curious as to how you wear yours......? :smile1:

I struggle to get mine on my shoulder, so its the crook of the arm for me. The Roxanne was my 2nd Mulberry but since then I have purchased a couple that can be worn messenger style or on my shoulder and since then I havent used the Roxanne as much, I get tired holding it in my arm and much prefer those that I can wear on my shoulder. Maybe some of the more..... ahem........ petite ladies can get theirs on their shoulders comfortably but petite is not something I could ever be accused of

Hi! I'm not petite..I'm a UK size 12, and I have no problem wearing Roxanne on my shoulders. Today I carried my Oak nvt Roxy on the shoulder whilst wearing a woolen winter coat. I have 4 Roxannes and they all fit onto the shoulder comfortably. Such a shame that you can't just go into a Mulberry concession to try one...I still can't quite believe they have been discontinued :confused1: Am sure you will get some more advice here to help you come to a decision :smile1:

HI, my roxy is mainly hand held or on the crook of the arm bag. I can wedge her on my shoulder as well even with a thick winter coat, but I could not say she stays on comfortably. I think you might get disappointed if you are after a shoulder bag.

Absolutely:smile1: I almost always carry mine on my shoulder, if not they're handheld! I abhor carrying it in the crook of the arm, just you try stretching your arm out afterwards ...OUCH!!!!

Hi

I can get my Roxys on my shoulder and they seem to stay put too! But I do like to carry in crook of arm (that well known bicep building activity) if Im not going far!

Pssssst - I did hear that Roxanne specials would be hitting the outlets soon - Im hoping for some good colours!

Ells xx

I can wear mine on my shoulder - but only just (but I am a size 14) I used my Roxy today when I was out shopping and have to say even though I wasn't wearing a coat I still ended up carrying her in the crook of my arm - luckily I didn't have many bags of shopping to carry !

I can wear mine too - BUT I did have one that I couldn't . It was one of the original Oak one's with lined ears. The straps were about 3 cm shorter than my black one.

I struggle with mine on the shoulder with a winter coat (UK size 12) but otherwise its fine. I agree with IWANB - its more comfy on the shoulder than my bays as the straps are wider

I am a UK size 6 and I can get it over my shoulder but it feels a bit uncomfortable and its very difficult with a proper coat on...

I have an EW Bayswater and that goes on my shoulder no problem and is very comfortable.
