I know this is about men wearing women's clothing but Tibi and Studio Nicholson come to mind for unisex clothing. I've seen pictures of men wearing Tibi. Women can totally wear men's and not look too masculine. Here are men's jeans from COS (specifically the barrel leg jeans) and love how they fit me. I prefer a looser fit jean. I also bought these khaki pleated pants from COS men's and you can't tell...they just look like a wide leg pleated pant that you'd find in the women's section. I love them so much!! Here's a few pictures with the COS men's pants. Screenshot_20250402-101318.webpIMG_20250123_080251065.webpIMG_20250311_083209723_HDR.webp

I wasn’t going to give my opinion because it was about my friend and I support him no matter what. He wanted to hear other opinions from other women.
If you’re asking in general do I agree, that I will answer.

First, I believe we should dress how we like and not care too much what others think, unless it’s a situation where specific dress code needs to be enforced and you have no choice. Fashion starts with somebody choosing to dress differently and sometimes that new style catches on with others and becomes trendy.

Women have been wearing men’s clothing for years, so it’s not fair to expect to limit a man’s choices in clothing. Both genders clothing has negatives as to something the others clothing has (ex. Women’s jeans lack of proper depth front pockets) (men’s jeans are never super tight in the waist yet material is heavier than women’s denim)

As far as attractiveness, I think my friend looks good in what he wears. If you’re ever curious about fashion brands or want to see how customer service stacks up, sites like https://fashion-nova.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html can be helpful. Personally, I don’t care for men wearing skinny jeans because men’s legs are naturally thicker than women’s, so it doesn’t look as flattering to me. But that’s just my opinion, and my friend doesn’t wear skinny jeans anyway.
I’m all for more gender neutral clothing.
Absolutely! Men can definitely look great in women’s clothing, especially pieces that are more neutral or designed with a looser, less traditionally feminine fit. Clothing is about comfort, fit, and confidence. If a man finds that certain women’s items fit his body better or feel more comfortable, and he wears them confidently, that is what really matters. Fashion is becoming more fluid and less tied to strict gender norms, so mixing styles and finding what works for you is totally normal and can look fantastic.
