Can I wear this Raymond Weil watch every day?

Provided you work in an office-type environment, I think this watch is great for everyday. IMO, watches simply aren't THAT dressy to begin with, diamonds or not, so it is difficult for a watch to be "too dressy" for most occasions in my eyes. For example, I'd never wear a watch to a formal or even a cocktail event (though I realize other may differ with me on that), so that means that diamonds on a watch are fine for everyday office wear.

And I definitely agree about getting what you love. If you get the other simply because it is more practical, I think you will regret it, not like it as well, and wear it less often because of that.

Or is it too dressy? Opinions please. I don't own any nice watches, just a big gold Michael Kors that I like but am sick to death of!

This is gorgeous. I would wear it every day. It is a nice balance of dressy and casual because of the simplicity and size of diamonds and the two tone. You could dress it up or down, it is a perfect, classic, versatile watch. Go for it and love it!

I think you can wear it every day - but as many have mentioned it really depends on your lifestyle more than anything else. I really like the non-diamond version of this watch for both it's more minimalist style and practicality for every day!

I have had a similar watch (different brand) and have worn them every single day. The diamonds are really just chips, nothing extravagant, and are perfect for everyday wear!

Gorgeous watch! I definitely think it would work for everyday. I have a YG/SS Rolex DateJust with a diamond bezel and dial. I wear it almost every day - it's such a classic piece, it works with casual, dressy, and formal outfits.

Thanks so much for all the food for thought, much appreciated!

I think I'm going to go for the diamond bezel and if I really feel it's over the top, I'll exchange it. It is the one that calls to me, so I'll give it a try.

Not purchasing for a few weeks, but will be sure to post pictures when I do. Thanks again. :)

i think it's fine as an everyday watch - the watch is a nice size and the diamonds are discreet, it's not a huge blinged-out watch. it's very pretty.

I have the exact same watch as the second one (diamond markers). I wear it every day and love it!

It goes with casual or dressy. It's my favorite watch for every day.

I vote yes! But I'm biased because I love mine. LOL!

I actually considered the one with the little diamonds in the bezel, but I didn't like it quite as much. It was a little too busy.

I prefer a diamond bezel to have full diamonds for the whole bezel, and on this one it detracted from the diamonds to me that they had both the diamonds and the little gold "nails" both on the bezel. Plus, in real life, the diamond chips on the bezel were so small (smaller than the diamond markers) so they didn't sparkle. They looked, I don't know, just like very tiny chips that almost looked a little brown or dirty somehow. It honestly looked less expensive than the one without them.

I just liked the clean look of the plainer bezel because it made the mother of pearl face and diamond markers pop more. There wasn't so much going on, and the clean look made the markers and mother of pearl face pop. So just compare them in real life. you may love it. They are both very pretty!

I think the one with the diamond bezel is gorgeous. I'm glad you chose that one. I think it's a great watch, and it could be worn every day with no issues provided you aren't one to bang your watch into things frequently. Looking forward to seeing your pics once you get the watch!

charleston-mom, thank you so much for the pictures and for such a detailed response!

I agree, I was thinking it might be a little busy, but I literally only wear diamond stud earrings, an eternity ring on my left hand, and my engagement ring (also a band) on my right hand. So I'm thinking I can get away with a busy watch since I don't have much else going on, jewelry-wise.

I'll let you know what I end up with!

Absolutely! Life is too short. Whatever style you pick, wear it as much as you want, to wherever you want and enjoy it. I have a two-toned diamond watch that I wear everywhere!!
