Calvi colour help

I don't know if this helps, but this is a 4 year old calvi in celeste that's held keys primarily and occasionally coins (though always in a bag). I haven't cared for it differently than any other calvi and I think it looks fine. Honestly the worst marks are from the metal of the snap closure.

I would go for a fun bright clash..
Like a purple exterior and orange interior...
I gifted my assistant a personalised Calvi last year and ordered black exterior and Craie interior It looked really chic..
I ordered it in Epsom.
I hope you don't take offence but i find the combination pictured a little bland..it reminds me of an egg mayonnaise sandwich.
If you love Jeune poussin for the exterior how about going for a blue interior?

Think you've just encouraged me to push the button on the custom black & craie Calvi I've been eyeing... I'll go for swift though as I want to try out this leather in something I'll use a lot.

I had been looking at a pop of colour with Blue Atoll but couldn't quite tell from photos if it was the right shade and then ummed and ahhed so long that the colour was no longer available. Noir & craie is my current preference but like the OP I've been hesitant about a light colour even on the interior. Now realise I might as well consider it as an experiment with light colours too, which I love but shy away from.

Great to hear that it looks good in real life! Now to decide on the markings…

Definitely a chic combo. I was just looking at Blue saphir with Craie.
