Calvi colour help

Hi Guys, I was looking for some colour Inpso/advice. I'd like to order a Calvi verso online in a fun colour. Was looking at Jaune Poussin for exterior and Craie interior. Is that a bad idea? Both such light colours, it may look wrecked really quickly. Would Etain or Etoupe work as an interior with the yellow? I find the colours on the website a bit off sometimes, but that's maybe my bad eyesight! lol Thanks in advance!

I don't know what you are thinking of doing that would 'wreck the interior really quickly'.
As you are in the 'fun' mindset, might I suggest that you that you go for a brighter or darker contrasting interior colour. If you like the result and would still like piece in craie, order another in craie and have a different 'fun' interior. After all, in Hermes terms, Calvis and Bastias are so inexpensive. So why not!

The corners of the Calvi are sensible and they show wear and tear after a short time of using. I wouldn't buy a very light color. I have sold my Calvi because of this.

Is the custom calvi a europe only thing? I love Jaune Poussin but I saw a used one and it looked kind of dingy even though it was only a year old....so maybe not for the outside....

I'm so excited about this brand, the leather is beautiful and durable. I have bought this year 3 bags and 2 walltes from LOEWE, and I must say, the leather is absolutely to compare with Hermès ( I have some Hermes bags too). The prices of LOEWE are justified and the products are worth the price. I'm a "newcomer" from LOEWE - but now I'm a fan of this company

Absolutely! For me it's the only other luxe leather brand I'm really drawn to. I have Loewe pieces that are 15 years old and look brand new. All my current SLG's in use are from there.

Like a purple exterior and orange interior...
I gifted my assistant a personalised Calvi last year and ordered black exterior and Craie interior It looked really chic..
I ordered it in Epsom.
I hope you don't take offence but i find the combination pictured a little bland..it reminds me of an egg mayonnaise sandwich.
If you love Jeune poussin for the exterior how about going for a blue interior?

No, you're right thank you. I think they do look better with a real pop. I nearly ordered the vert criquet that popped up today with a vibrant dark blue, but didn't pull the trigger. Maybe hold off until I can get a green I really want. I'll probably end up with another Loewe at this point, they've got an amazing green card case online just now with the bubble logo

I don't know if this helps, but this is a 4 year old calvi in celeste that's held keys primarily and occasionally coins (though always in a bag). I haven't cared for it differently than any other calvi and I think it looks fine. Honestly the worst marks are from the metal of the snap closure.
