I have both black veg tan and saffiano and I love them for different reasons:
veg tan - a more natural and down to earth look, able to break in more, does get scratched easily
saffiano - indestructible and will stay pristine for a long time (probably forever lol), scratch resistant, it's more stiff (to me)

I love the lady bag in black saffiano and bucket in veg tan. what's your MG bag? hth!

I also have a question, does the saffiano leather used by MG have a "plastic" feeling when you touch it, like Prada's one?

hmm I haven't owned a prada before so I'm not sure if it's similar. but it is as stiff, if not more, than veg tanned. i can understand it may feel plasticky to others. but I like it as it is reallyyyy carefree to use

I will say it is similar to Prada's, since Prada is the one first using the saffiano technique. It won't soften with time as the veg tanned leather does. However, I agree with other about the carefree part.

I got my bag Mansur in saffiano color Rosa from Barneys. The bag is gorgeous, but I do not feel well with the bag But I miss the traditional compartments

The edges of my MG mini bucket in rosa saffiano has definitely got some color transfer - it was pretty much my daily bag all summer. Diaper wipes have surprisingly been ineffective. Any suggestions on how to clean saffiano? I see this on the top of the bag and strap edges.

Congratulations! I have to say this bag is gorgeous! But just as you said, the large bucket might be slightly clumsy. I would love a mini or mini mini rosa!

yep, pretty normal. happens to all mansur saffiano bags, sadly.
