Thanks for your response and the pics too! 5 years is really good.... don't think I've ever had pair last more than a year ~ LOL!

Premium High end sunglasses like Louis Vuitton , Chanel , Cartier , Prada , Versace , dolce & Gab , Tiffany are all about frames . The lenses are Ok , 100% UV protection and some of them offers polarized lens too .
I guess if you are into high fashion end brand -then choose Louis Vuitton brand , but if you are looking for a Best clarity / polarized lenses in the market , there is nothing you can compare with Maui Jim brand polarized lens $159.95 - $375 , they are distortion free and all polarized .
They are not as cool or feminine as Louis Vuitton - however the lens is amazing .
Sunglass hut actually offers a 90 days return policy so you can try to see if these sunglasses fits your need and if doesn't work , they will issue a full refund as long as within 90 days period .

I have polarize Chanel , Prada , Versace and non polarized LV - but still I love the Maui Jim's the best .

I only wear my LV & Chanel for certain occasion ,the frames are beautiful - but I prefer Maui Jim or rayban , oakley for everyday wear .

For a everyday pair , nothing can surpass the clarity of MAui Jim :-)

P.S other brands that makes excellent polarized lenses are Persol , Rayban, oakley , costa delmar and revo .

I have a few pairs and have been wearing them everyday for a few years ... I find they are good against the harsh sun here and I don't baby them at all and they have held up really well.

Don't get me wrong , LV is beautiful & elegant - but for a high price point and non Polarized lens , I would rather to invest & add extra dollars and get handbag .
Besides ,a lot of LV sunnies are similar to other brand - just different logo & emblem.

Like what my mother always says , is it practical to buy $625 pair of LV sunglasses , NO ! but if you have a budget for it - go for it :tup:

Spot on - I have three pairs of Maui Jim's and NOTHING compares. MJs are for people who know sunglasses. I could not fathom being on the beach, on a boat, driving, golfing, sporting events, etc, without them!

That being said, I love sunglasses!
I put my LV Flores in the fashion category and they fall below my last in my list of fashion sunnie loves- Gucci #1, Chanel #2 and LV is #3.

The price tag is a bit hard to swallow. The two things I like is that they are lite weight and the lens which are polarized and very clear. Con: I have a habit of loosing sunglasses, so I'm constantly paranoid about loosing them.

I have the Obsession ones too, have been wearing them for 7 years now so deffo worth the cash

I'm thinking about these but didn't see them in store to try them on... would anyone be willing to share mod pics of the obsession gm? :tender:
