Well, spring is (finally) getting here and I need a new pair of sunglasses. For the past 10 years, my LV collection has consisted only of handbags and SLG's. I have never even looked at the sunglasses ~ until now. The Angelica sunglasses have captured my attention, and I am wondering if they are really worth the price ($665). Somehow I can much more easily justify the cost of a handbag that I will use for several years than this price for sunnies. Also, I have been known to loose a few pair over the years. Are the sunglasses really THAT good?? I would love to hear from those of you who own a pair and get your feedback.

TIA!

I have the Gina sunglasses from last year. They're very nice but not exceptional and probably overpriced. I have a pair of Tiffany sunnies I bought in December that were hundreds less and just as nice. On balance I don't plan to buy more LV sunglasses unless they come up with something really great.

ImageUploadedByPurseForum1366670940.342934.jpg I bought these glasses (don't remember the name) at least 5 years ago and they have held up amazingly!!!!! I think they were worth every penny spent. They are classic and I know I will have them for many more years to come! I hope this helps 😉

I bought my Flore sunnies ...gosh, I think it was 3 years ago this summer! They are the only sunglasses I own, and I am obsessive about wearing sunglasses...even on overcast days. They are on my head all day long, on top of my head when not on my eyes. They've been in the ocean, pools, you name it..EVERYWHERE.

I have two kids who have played with them and once even broke them, but they were fixed. Most recently they were stolen by a Jack Russell terrier who I had to fight to get them back. They still look great, feel great and I LOVE them. I will be beyond heartbroken when they finally die.

Before I bought these I would spend about $40 on a pair, and it would last about a month, so these were definitely a great investment!

I just purchased my first pair, the Obsession gm in brown. I love them! They are the only pair in that style I have tried that really fits my face and my Asian nose. I also tried on the aviators (forgot the name) with the gold tone hardware and love those too! I may go back to get them.

I just bought some sparkly Soupçon Oversized sunnies last month and obsess...they're completely amazing and so worth it.
I know the price may seem hard to justify, but if there's a pair you love, go for it--- unlike some bags, sunnies are something that you will use nearly every single day and won't just sit in your closet. They're completely functional and will always look good.

Hi! Do you have a pic of you wearing your soupçon? I would like a black pair but my store doesn't have them. TIA!

I also have a pair of Soupcon sunnies that I purchased pre-loved, so I did save a little bit of cash that way. They have held up beautifully and are incredibly durable. I've had them for over 5 years. In fact the case is breaking instead of the sunnies which is fine with me!

Wow ~ now that is a testament to a great product! I think if you can get 3 years out of them, you have gotten your $$$ worth!:smile1:

Good point ~ I do wear sunglasses year-round. Even though we get lots of cloudy days....
I guess I have just never bought a really nice pair. Thanks for your input!
