Oh it’s beautiful 🤩. I didn’t realize it was tiny and assumed it was a regular sized one. What a bummer it’s that small 😥. If you carry light it could work but if you won’t use it I would exchange it for something you will use. Unless you’re a collector 😊
It's soooo pretty! I love the embroidery and embellishments but if you can't fit anything it doesn't seem very useful. I'm sure it was expensive and would be hard to justify it looking pretty on a shelf. It's too bad they didn't do it in a bb size. Let us know what you decide!
I love your trio picture 💙💙💙. My empriente Diane has the same thing, it rarely gets latched because of the magnet but it’s never come open when using it. I simply adore the bag and it is one of my most comfortable bags to carry. My husband gifted me the Diane in blue hour and it was the first bag he’s ever bought in his life so I will never get rid of it 😂 I gave my monogram Diane to my mom who absolutely loves it.
I feel like the denim was definitely more substantial from the original but it seems that is the case with everything now. Even the canvas is thinner. So that could make the bag wear quicker in the long run. I am a firm believer in wearing my bags so I try not to worry too much but I know some folks really want to wear them forever or have them look pristine forever.
I love the idea that you are only buying what you’ll use. I have adopted a similar mindset. Or the one in, one out situation. Hence why my daughter in law was allowed to use my cabby as a diaper bag, I wanted the neverfull ❤️
I have an east west mini capucines and it is tiny for sure. But I love the bag so much that I downsized to make it work. If you can’t make it work for you, get something else. It’s a beauty for sure and I’m big capucines fan.

Ugh I’m loving all these pics of the denim Diane!! I think it will look so cool once it gets broken in and patinas. 😃 I really want to order it because I’m afraid it won’t be available for long.
However I just ordered the denim Cherry Sunset bag…it’s on its way to me. Would it be “too much” to own two denim shoulder bags? Wondering if I should exchange the Sunset for the Diane.

I think I like the Diane better only because it seems more secure compared to the sunset. I personally like the denim bag choices they made for this collection better than the cherries denim options even though I love cherries. Maybe you can exchange and buy a cherries charm if you only want one bag. I do think there is room for both since the styles are so different.
I am waiting for my initial excitement to wear off and decide again. But everytime I pull it out from the dustbag, it just sparkles and it gets harder to let go. I really should look at downsizing.
It is my first capucines and had no clue how limited the space really is. I hope I can make this work somehow.

I would be finding all sorts of ways around the problem. Could you use a card holder as a wallet? Would it fit that with lipstick/chapstick? The phone is sadly always the deal breaker for me. Maybe one of those bandolier phone cases I have seen? It's coming to terms with the having to carry two things! Good luck with your decision!
Anyone still waiting on their denim bags? I ordered the Pouchette valley on May 17 which shows delivery of Jun 25. I don’t understand why it would take so long?
