(I was thinking of @Cool Breeze and her bracelet), so I swung by the boutique to try on the serpenti line. I assumed that I would try the pave bracelet for ‘fun’ but end up with something like the ‘more practical’ coiled watch. I tried everything serpenti and ended up focused on the serpenti coiled pave ring (size medium) and a soon to be discontinued rose gold serpenti tubogas bracelet with diamonds at the exaggerated serpent head and tail, size medium. The tubogas is much larger than the current serpenti pave line, and DH liked its scale better on me (I’m short but medium boned, a size medium in the bracelet, and the current serpenti viper looked a bit small on me). https://www.bulgari.com/en-us/348589.html
I was surprised that the rose gold at Bulgari reads as a warmer version of yellow gold, and that I liked it so much. Like @kstropp, I am not a rose gold personI have to say that the serpenti line, as gorgeous as it is in photos, looks even better IRL on the wrist. DH likes the IRL aesthetic of serpenti more than VCA
edit: i returned to try everything on again. DH felt that RG serpenti tubogas worked really well on me, so I ended up getting it and a RG serpenti viper ring with a little pave too (but these two items are my last jewelry purchases of the year). I think I am ring twins with @Rockysmom (first three pics were at the boutique; last pic is at a restaurant)
