Bulgari Serpenti Ring Sizing

I bought my first Bulgari piece yesterday, the Serpenti Viper in rose gold. I’m realizing it fits slightly tighter than I would prefer. Will it loosen a bit because it’s flexible? I’m very aware of it being on my finger, and it leaves a tiny, tiny red indentation. Will this go away in time, or should I size up now? I bought a medium, which is 100% comfortable on my ring finger but is causing these problems on my middle finger—which is the finger where I want to wear it. Thank you! I’m not used to flexible rings!

@unhly_msqurade can I please ask what size your middle and ring fingers are? I read that you sized up to the L in this.

I'm deciding between the L and XL, as I want to wear it on my middle finger, which is a size 8. I'll pop the Bulgari sizing in here and if anyone has any thoughts, please chime in! Thanks in advance!

I can wear between and M and L. L was more comfortable for me for a size 53 (6.5)

For size 8 you definitely need XL. I wear my L rings either on my ring (size 5 3/4) or my middle (size 7) finger, depending on the climate. My index finger is 7 1/2 and size L doesn’t fit on even during winter.

Thank you so much @vivaciousbev1 and @Mishella for your help! I am going to order the XL.

I'm following this thread with interest. I have been looking at a Serpenti Viper wedding band that gives the articulated look of Serpenti but the ring is a closed circle, so probably easier to size. (Not to replace my original band, but sometimes I like to wear a different ring for travel.) That said, probably good to try it in store if possible because styles can fit differently. Please keep the Serpenti Viper ring photos coming! Fun to look at.
