Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

I can say that there are a couple of them that I love, hard to find colors that no other designer is making. I love the chain strap, and do also wonder about the calfskin and proneness to scratching. Also not sure how much they fit?? the larger ones??
Do you have any issue with the metallic calfskin chipping or scratching easily? I am looking into them but I'm too scared to have it wear very early on ...
I have had no issues at all actually. Bvlgari’s quality is impeccable. The only areas to note would be the metallic is extremely rigid- it does not give over time. And fingerprints are a bit of an issue, but nothing that would stop me personally. Just details to consider before buying. But I love the metallic and the bag in general. I say go for it!
They aren't built for everyday wear though, right? I am looking into the Diamond Blast Micro Bag in emerald green but I also want another model that I can wear as an everyday bag or a weekend bag. How long have you had yours for?
I always rotate my larger work bags so I wouldn’t be able to confidently say if it would hold up with everyday use. But I would venture that a grained leather would be a better choice for everyday. I probably use my bag once or twice a week- it’s been a good 9 months. It still looks great!
I own one in black soft leather. So far i had no issues and i don’t baby my bags at all. Checking different colors now. The quality is impeccable, much better than the new chanel bags. Plus i like the classic design and the clasp. Had multiple people stopping me and asking me where my bag is from.
3 years, i used it on and off. There are very slight scratches and minor wrinkling but its not visible unless you inspect the bag under sunlight. Tried to picture it, hope it helps.

No cracks or wrinkles at the top or anywhere else. Just slight wrinkling as you can see around the clasp. That is probably because the leather is soft. To be honest in the picture it looks worse than in real life. And it fits more items than the medium chanel classic flap so i tend to use this one more often.
The Bvlgari Serpenti line is exquisite. Delightfully luxurious but won't be on every other influencer / fashionista! I just wish it came in some more scratch-resistant leathers though - as careful as I am with my bags (eg. Chanel lambskin, Givenchy smooth box calfksin) there is always that slight fear factor!
Bumping again. Still obsessed. Has anyone ever purchased it from Selfridges? I know that people with other brands have had issues with it not coming with the full experience like with the box. But Bvlgari has a special relationship with Selfridges. Just curious if anyone has had it shipped to the states.
I’m thinking of getting this bag in the emerald green color. Not sure which size, but either the shoulder one that’s 3k US or the top handle one. Does anyone know if the malachite on the snake clasp dulls over time? Does the leather scratch easily? I’ve always wanted a green bag and this one looks quite luxurious. Any feedback would be much appreciated!
