Bulgari Serpenti Bag. Is It Worth It?

The enamel details on the chain is just wow.
Not my Color but so many decisions to be made.
I love this in the pink but the chain on it is full gold not this colorful enamel.
Still on the fence between serpenti box bag or this very new - Serpenti Pochette.

This could even slid a phone in which is technically better than a WOC.

Also back to the overdue discussions in previous pages on Bvlgari bag making process using glue and machines to stitch.

The multi-coloured enamel is GORGEOUS!!! I hope they release more colours!

Just a quick correction though, I looked up the dimensions of this pochette and it's the exact same dimensions as the WOC. Both are 20cm x 12cm x 4cm and can fit a larger iPhone. My WOC fits my iPhone 13 Pro and a couple of SLGs no problem. I like the top handle on this one better though, don't really use built-in card slots!

Absolutely. It's almost a copy from Virgil's bracelets and necklaces from past season but still it's beautiful.
As for the New Serpenti Forever Pochette- there's only 2 colours for now and the colourful enamel is only for orange.
Imagine this chain against white, stunning but I absolutely cannot care for it.

Made up my mind on which bvlgari bag to get next and can't wait to receive it come July!!!

You can't just leave us hanging like that! What are you getting?!;)

The shade should be out in July based on my experience in how Bvlgari launches different colours for the fall.
However at this point, there is no shade or SKU code and although I'm certain this will be produced. There are times certain colours are either exclusive to countries or cancelled due to poor sales.

As for my region, all the mini cabochon bags and serpenti jewelry box bag sold out almost immediately upon stores receiving them.

Oh wow that's incredible! I hope you get it!
I saw similar on their website but the zipper wasn't black.

The current karung version released is light gold
I'm eyeing the one in silver with black trim at the zip, given I used a Bvlgari serpenti compact wallet for more than a year.

The zip fabric will get dirty over time.
Since karung is extremely durable and the black zip trim can stand the test of time.
This would last a long time.

Thanks for sharing the colours and Virgil Abloh bracelets! Really interesting that LVMH cycles these designs through their brands.

The pink and orange are stunning, great colours for the summer. Would love to see what other colours they cook up next.

@TraceySH @A bottle of Red Hi ladies I was thinking about purchasing this Bulgari Cabochon white bag and saw your threads. Originally I was going to get the red one but liked the white one better when I saw them both in the flesh.

My concerns about the white one is: 1) how fast is the yellowing process after a year or two 2) is it easy / durable to clean day to day. Can you advise since you have had it for a while.

My other reservation is I also see yellow dots on the leather and the bag appears pearl white, not snow white. Does it go well with white clothes?

I have been torn for a week or two, just wanted to make a decision and stick with it. Spent too much time looking at bags...haha! Thank you.

I have a white cabochon bag & yes it is a warmer creamy white. I had hoped it would be a cooler white, but kept it.
I love it , perfect for summer! Only have it a few months, so far no color change.
Bvlgari bags are very sturdy & well made; but it does get a bit heavy on me after a while.
Then again i am super sensitive to weight so even my lightest bags get heavy on me.
Let us know if you get a bag from them & post pics of course ;)

I love the pearlescent white! It's def a creamy white like @A bottle of Red stated above, but it's so pretty that it's hard not to keep and appreciate. No, I don't wear it with white for that reason, but plenty of other deep color backgrounds it looks great with. Bags are hardy & well-made, it's a brand that's SO under appreciated, at least here on TPF. They seem to be sold out constantly, so maybe that tells us something!

Has anyone tried the Cabochon bags? Is the normal black calf leather prone to scratches? I have my eye on the karung leather (water snakeskin), I was told it is the most durable and scratch resistant.

I just wished it came in silver chain strap options with the green enamel eyes. Any advice on care and such, much appreciated!View attachment 4704117 View attachment 4704118
I have the karung bag with top handle on it and I say the karung leather is just beautiful. I have so many bags but this one really takes my breath away everytime I take it out from my closet. It has this kind of metallic shine on it that changes color whenever the light hits the bag but in a very subtle way. While in NYC someone bumped at me in a weird way and my bag rolled all the way down the subway stairs and all I could think of its ruined but when I inspected the bag it has no scratches or dent on it. Even the snake clasp was perfectly fine. I also noticed that this kind of leather doesnt wrinkle easily compared to other leather type. As for the cabochon this one needs a little babying the leather is comparable to chanel calfskin it's a very good bag but I think this is only good if you have other bags to rotate. As it's very soft and less structured . I tried to take a video of the karung bag but the forum doesn't allow me to post it.
