OMG!!! This looks like a brushed finish!!! Having acquired a brushed finished bracelet and bangle this year, I can say that I love this finish and IMO, this is definitely a step forward. Apparently, it costs more to do this finish though so maybe a price increase will happen for this finish

What about the cuff? That’s why I chose it. Easy on, easy off and no worries about screws ever.

True but I don't like the look I'm also not a stacker and can't deal with scratches (leaving the Love on and damaging it/watches/etc.)!

I like it more but I am not such a love person so this would be a 'just out of interest' look. I have to go in to Cartier soon (chain broke) so I may pop in and check it out and 'feel the love'

I really like brushed/aged gold on my bags so I wonder if I will like this! I wonder if it will come to the US

I love brushed metal, I might be interested in this one as I am looking for a third Love and prefer different textures so that my stack doesnʻt look like a solid block of gold.

Matte version…guess it might hide scratches better than the regular one? Not shiny at all BUT I do love the shiny version so a no for me.
I’m on vacation and wearing my small love in the water and love how it shines

I agree. The cuff “feels” exactly like the original, although it does vary a little on the shape and sizing.

I'm not exceedingly fond of this version myself, but I do wonder if it would get my husband on board to get one.
As far as whether it's a replacement for the original, I'm sorry but with respect, clearly it is not. They've made that same one (with varying screw systems) since 1969 and it's iconic. They're not replacing it with something brushed.

If they offer this in the cuff I think I'm a buyer. Only issue I have is, how will you replicate the finish after scratches?

I guess the issue with a brushed finish is that scratches against the "grain" may actually look more obvious.
