I don't know why you would dislike pics of yourself, you look nice to me. Does your phone have a timer for pictures? I set mine for 10 seconds and set it at a good height, then I don't have to hold it for the picture. Thanks for the photos
yes, I should try harder to learn how to use my I-phone camera
thanks

so I was in DSW yesterday and they had the chocolate brown one reduced 30%. I don't need another of the same bag but if I go back and it's further reduced, I could be tempted. :-s

Just seeing this. I'm glad you went with the blue, it's beautiful and looks great on you. I have a lighter blue Cole Haan bag that I found for a great price at TJMaxx and the leather is wonderful. Definitely keep an eye out for that price reduction! If you love your blue one, then a brown one would be nice too for when the blue doesn't match your outfit.

so I got the blue bag for a good price but the brown one I'd originally seen has been drastically reduced. I can't believe no one has bought it. I think it's the demographic. the store is in an area where people are probably buying cheaper bags. They have it at 50% off. I like the bag but not really so much that I want two of them. But if it goes to 70% off (next markdown), I'll be really tempted.
Anyone want to talk be down from this? or enable me?

Pros: 1. It's nice and roomy, easy to find stuff in and the center zip compartment is plenty big to hold my wallet and any security items.
2. price - if it goes to 70% off it will be practically a giveaway

Cons: 1. the style is maybe more suited to a more structured leather. It doesn't really hold it's shape well when carried.
2. I have more than enough bags

The blue looks great on you. Do you carry it much? If it helps I own multiples of my favorite bags and carry them more often than my other bags. But if you don't love it enough, you may not carry a second one much.

I agree with Sora, no matter how good a deal, if you're not going to use it then better not get a second one. Of course this is the rational me talking. [emoji6]

maybe someone will buy the bag before it gets reduced further and take the decision out of my hands :)

Two mental tricks that work for me in this kind of situation:
Would I have considered buying another if not on sale? If not don't buy.
Work out the money saved as a % off something else I want to buy
