Just wanted to thank you all for your compliments!!

I haven't used it much - just took it to the coffee shop and back -- but I love it. And yes, hooking the tabs into the gold studs on the front would drive me nuts, so I just close the flap, close the turnlock to secure the bag, and I'm off. I think the gold studs are mainly there for aesthetic reasons, actually. The bag is a very casual one, so it looks fine with the leather tabs "unhooked." It'd take a very, VERY patient woman to latch them on every time!
Speaking of casual, it kind of cracked me up, because I was trying it on in the store and the SA was like, "Oh, yes, you could dress that bag up or down." She was very sweet and otherwise very helpful, so I resisted the urge to say, "Dress this bag up?!" If anything, it will add a casual vibe to long maxi skirts or dresses. I'm picturing it with a slim leather jacket, a maxi skirt, and cool boots. Anyway, if someone can suggest a cool way to actually dress it up, I'd be more than happy to hear it. But I bought this bag knowing it was super casual, and that's the way I plan to use it.
Now...that jade rhyder....a bit off topic, but it's haunting me. I want the large one. I asked my SA and she said that as of a couple days ago, there were around 25 or so left in Jax. 25???!!!! I hope they make more, because I cannot afford that bag right now (or any other bag, for that matter), but I want it. The color is screaming at me to get it. Ok. Tangent over.
Thanks again for all of your kind words!
