I only have one tiny bad keloid scar and it was a doctor to blame 🙄 but still thanks for the advice.I noticed that one concern mentioned upthread is scarring. I had an excisional biopsy in the 1990s and I have a tendency to keloid scar. My side breast scar lasted for many years and post OTC silicone didn’t really do much.
For a non related surgery to this thread (hysterectomy), my doctor suggested that I inform the surgeon how I scar and ask for a shot of kenalog, prior to surgery to prevent as much scarring. I believe the kenalog helped, so this might be an option to discuss with your doctors
