I guess I thought that because a bunch of stores had received the item that they would've have known about the item even though the official launch had not happened yet....I would think they would want the reps to have that info to answer calls....Having the item number and knowing members here saw it stores helped quite a bit with the call....

CS is just a bunch of people sitting in front of a computer screen and reading a script. They don't know anything that's not on the screen.

:sad: I thought maybe they had a book that had the items and launch dates so they knew like some companies have.....I know they have to know about a lot if items and take a lot of calls so certainly not trying to insult them, it's just frustrating sometimes when you have to tell them the item is out there...Most of the reps I have dealt with are nice but you have to be informed which is why tPF is so helpful, so thanks everyone!:smile1:

I am sure you are right, they must have additional info. But it's still pretty limited. I often know more than they do! 😃

I called and did a phone order yesterday. At first they told me no one had it and then I said I called before and was told there were stores that had it. Sometimes it seems that some reps don't want to look into or take the extra step. Usually I call back and talk to someone else....there were stores that had it yesterday unless they all sold out as of today which seems odd...

Thanks for the tip! I might try again tomorrow and see if I have better luck lol....the search continues!

I purchased one but have to pick it up still. When I went to a local store by me, the SA said that 15 were sent to stores throughout the U.S. and that 12 of them were already sold/reserved. She had one in stock on hold for someone else, but took my cc info in case that customer didn't purchase it by end of day. I got a call today that the item wasn't bought and that it was rung up and waiting for me. The canvas looks really durable and I love the pop of color. Still struggling with the price though...

Just received the shipping confirmation on the Zippy, that bad boy is on it's way. When I called CS about the mini pochette, she acted like I had landed on Mars and needed directions back home. She had ZERO info. She was a sweet, young girl, but it's clear they tell them nada lotta. She said she was the only one in the office that day(?) So weird to say...but I asked her what she could see on her computer and she said "I see a list of stores that have them available" Whhhhaat? She said there were lists for the stores and "officially" some were not spoken for. Fantastic. She said not all stores had the same amount. She asked where I lived and looked at the stores in my state. The Edina store in Minnesota had a couple and she said she would have one sent to me. That was it. Done deal. Strange, but it worked.

I called CS in the AM to get the item number and they said there were none in stock and to call back later. I did and the person I got also acted like I landed on mars! :laugh: I gave her the item number she said it was for an old item made in 2001. Say what now?! I was like, noo, as I said, it's brand new. She then said no one had it and I could go into the store and request one. I went to the boutique and they had no clue about it either.

I was SO excited and then common sense kicked in and I decided it would be silly to have a third mini pochette. I will admire everyone else's pics!
