Would 4 prong give the illusion of larger carat weight?
I think a 6 prong would give more of an illusion to a larger stone. a 4 prong can make it look cushion or princes cut

But wouldn't that overwhelm the diamonds?
Great news; Im sure it will look lovely and at least you have a consensus now which is always half the battle.I think we have finally decided on 4 prong!
Thanks for everyone's help!!
We have decided to go for the bracelet! I feel she wil get more wear out of it.
Now the dilemma of 4 prong vs 3 prong.
I love the look of 3 but everyone else is saying 4.
I think this is a very good idea that you want to give someone a gift. If I were you then definitely I would have gone with bracelet. I think 2-2.5 carat weight bracelet would be a great gift. So the bracelet will be suitable for him.Hi everyone!
So my closest friend who's like a sister I don't have is getting married!! Pretty soon!
And me and a few friends want to put some money together and get her either a small tennis bracelet or a pendant as a gift!
So we have put some money together 4 of us and out budget is enough for either a 2-2.5 total carat weight tennis bracelet or a nice 0.75 carat solitaire pendant.
She doesn't have either, she has a beautiful 1carat soliatre engagement ring with pave setting on the band.
Which do you think would compliment her ring or which do you think would be worn more?
I have a 3carat tennis bracelet which I wear a lot and currently in the process of finding a stone for a pendant.
I don't know which to get.
Any advice? She wears necklaces and bracelets a lot so either would be suitable
