Hi everyone!

So my closest friend who's like a sister I don't have is getting married!! Pretty soon!
And me and a few friends want to put some money together and get her either a small tennis bracelet or a pendant as a gift!

So we have put some money together 4 of us and out budget is enough for either a 2-2.5 total carat weight tennis bracelet or a nice 0.75 carat solitaire pendant.

She doesn't have either, she has a beautiful 1carat soliatre engagement ring with pave setting on the band.

Which do you think would compliment her ring or which do you think would be worn more?

I have a 3carat tennis bracelet which I wear a lot and currently in the process of finding a stone for a pendant.

I don't know which to get.

Any advice? She wears necklaces and bracelets a lot so either would be suitable

I would go with the solitaire pendant. To me, that is more of a classic piece that can be worn every day. I have a 1/2 carat and only take it off to clean it. Either gift would be awesome though!

Such a lovely idea. I would maybe consider what she does for a living! Would she need to remove them for work purposes or could she wear them all the time?

I personally find I wear my diamond stud earrings more than my diamond pendant or tennis bracelet, in fact I only remove them for cleaning. After that it is bracelets for me!

I think the tennis bracelet would offer the wow factor as a gift. I would be blown away to receive one as a wedding gift from my friends.

What ever you decide you clearly think the world of her, and they are both awesome gift ideas!

I hope my ramblings have helped :smile1: xx

Hey everyone!
Read up on your suggestions and I asked her fiancé if he's getting her a necklace or bracelet he said he's getting her Rolex! (Lucky girl!!)
I think originally she would prefer a bracelet as she loves wearing scarves around her neck and she likes wearing statment necklaces depending on her outfit so I though bracelet would be great as she could wear it with everyone outfit.
But if he's getting her a watch, do you think two arm candy might be much?
We are going to give it her before the wedding so she can choose if she wants to wear it on the day or not.
In my opinion Both would love lovely with her bridal gown!

Maybe I'm cheesy but I love necklaces because when worn they are physically closer to the heart. So I would suggest the pendant. :)

Its funny you know, because when I think of both ideas as a gift, I instantly think the pendant would be of more meaning, or more special. For some reason, I seem to think of bracelets as something I buy myself or something, where as when I am gifted a necklace it does seem to hold more of a place in my heart.

Thanks for everyone's help!!
We have decided to go for the bracelet! I feel she wil get more wear out of it.

Now the dilemma of 4 prong vs 3 prong.

I love the look of 3 but everyone else is saying 4.
