Hi everyone!

I received my package today in the mail and was so excited to open it and realized later that my purse came without any sort of tags attached. I purchased a 20b small classic flap through neiman marcus and it came in perfect condition but it wasn’t wrapped with any ribbons and without any sight of the tags. Is this normal?
I purchased new prior and they all came with tags attached so I’m a little confused

thanks in advance!

That is poor customer service especially for an expensive item.

If it’s a leased NM, then your chances are lower it would come with tags since Chanel policy is that the tags are not included. Non-leased should have tags attached...As long as the card is in there, it’s not a huge deal unless you just like the tags.

Thanks Tracy. I think what kinda bothers me too is how it was sent to me. It almost feels like who packaged it didn’t take the time to nicely package it for me. The bag was even placed face down. Thanks for your message though and that makes me feel a lot better as it sounds like it is common for some bags to come without tags.

I know. I am not defending that at all. Some have arrived to me wonderfully wrapped, and other have arrived like they were literally thrown in there. I have a long, thorough history with the brand, no doubt, but the "luxury experience" isn't too much anymore, unfortunately. I hope you love your bag!!

thank you again, Tracy! i do :)
when you get your bags not nicely wrapped - do you accept it as is or did you say something? I'm not debating if I should mention anything. The SA who helped me is so so kind and it wasnt her who sent it out. She had helped me get the bag from a different store so it was shipped from there.

Many times, esp with a dept store, the SA themselves don't do the wrapping or shipping. I have mentioned here and there to my great SA, who I KNOW would never do that, and I "hear" the eye roll through text when they say their wrapping/ shipping dept is lackluster. I think my expectations for Chanel have sort of withered over time, so I guess not much really gets to me anymore. (I am pretty sure this isn't a good thing).

I heard back from my SA and she is so sweet and took the time to explain to me about the whole tag thing but can also see why my package should've been wrapped nicely. I am okay now and will just go on and enjoy my beautiful bag :)

That is so interesting that the SAs dont do the wrapping themselves...i think something so simple like this..keeps every customer happy and makes one feel special and important for the amount they spend. I hope they will someday change this.... =(
