GALERIES Lafayette carries Loro Piana? I would go with whichever you can get your hands on as they both beautiful bags. I am currently in the states and you can order the Bottega one off Neiman Marcus without buying another item.

I would love to hear more of your thoughts on this bag! Do you plan to wear it more top handle or with the strap?
I tried it on this weekend for the first time. Taking the strap on and off was a struggle 😅 so I didn’t love how you have to sort of commit to one or the other.

I only wear mine cross-body as I don't feel like fooling with the strap.

I like the size a lot -- more room than my L19 and not as big as my L27. It is really a lovely bag, but jeez that zipper is challenging . I try to only carry it when I know I won't have to be opening and shutting my bag often.

Worse than the LP19 or same?

I spotted someone wearing this bag in the street in Paris while I was wearing my white LP19 in Ostrich and I fell in love at first sight! I have always wanted a BV bag but I am not a fan of the unstructured shapes, so this one seems perfect and has a good price point. I almost bought a Savette symmetry bag, but I couldn't quite get on board with the lack of strap and I found the price relatively high for a brand I am less familiar with.

Had to check out the Savette pochette. That’s a really great looking bag!

I find the BV Vanity Case worse than the Loro Piano 19. To be honest I try not to carry the BV when I know I will have to open the bag a lot! Maybe it is just me?

I ended up pulling the trigger and getting one in Fondant. It was easy to find in Paris at Le Bon Marche, they had plenty to choose from and no weird sales tactics. The SA said that it has become one of their most popular models and the price has already been raised from 1950 to 2100€ and they expect it to go to 2400€ in a few months. I have an LP EP 19 and I found the vibe to be different between the two. The SA also showed me a display model that had been there a bit longer to demonstrate that the zipper should soften up significantly after some time. I'm pretty excited for my first BV bag! 🥰

Ditto. I looked at one there as well and the friendly staffer would have had no problems selling it to me. (I bought a Bulgari bag instead)

Does anyone have this in sea salt or ecru? Love the look of both colors with the gold hardware, but worried about it getting dirty. Will I be safer here since the bang bang is calfskin v lamb skin, or am I being naive??
