What do you think about the new Bottega Bang Bang Vanity Case?

A lot of brands are coming out with this style of bag because it's very popular at the moment.

Does anybody own one and can give a review and show more pics?

I went to Bottega in Paris to have a look at it but the SA told me that I need to buy another item to even have a look at the bag.....:whut: I left.

So they are playing the hard to get game like Hermés and Loro Piana with the L19.

I'm from Paris and I enquired about this bag at the Printemps haussman shop, but the SA told me it's not available yet.... Even the website says "coming soon"

What does everyone think of the new Vanity bag?

I was so excited to see this new bag from Bottega! I almost pulled the trigger so many times for the (similar) Loro Piana L19, but something kept stopping me. This one is gorgeous in burgundy intrecciato leather, it’s leather-lined, and it’s now available for preorder ($2200USD). I’m tempted...

It is very close to the LP Pouch (which I had my eye on in ostrich for a very long time). I decided against these kind of bags because at the end of the day, they literally just pouches with a handle and whilst they are on the less expensive end (unless in ostrich) they are not good value for money. I'd rather save and get the bag I really want.

I was at the Galeries Lafayette store in Paris 2 weeks ago. The SA said she has a few colors in the back but is not allowed to show me until I buy another item….
I checked the website afterwards and the white one was available to order so it doesn‘t make sense to me.

Wanted to get some more infos on the bag because I‘m deciding between this one and the Loro Piana L19.

I also was very close to buying the LP pouch but honestly I’m glad I didn’t. And I agree with everything you said above. :drinks:

Wow just this "purchase with purchase" reasoning is such a turn off.... In any case, I have an absolutely amazing SA in printemps, if you want you can PM me, I can pass you her contact.

Thank you both so much! Very kind. I‘m not in Paris anymore and went to the store in my home town to try my luck and they actually had 1 in white available.

I like the size and the shoulder strap but the zipper is very hard to open and I think I‘ll wait for another color.

Hi, I'm new here! I tried the Bang Bang bag at my local store and love the style, but I’m not a fan of the middle zipper. Does it get easier to use over time? I’m also considering the Concert bag, but I prefer the style of the Bang Bang. If anyone has been using it for a while, could you let me know your thoughts on this style?
