oops, you posted this while I was typing.

You'll have no problem with the kind of mini that has an open middle section.

As I said, even a full size accordion zip around wallet does fit in terms of length. And in an open middle section, you should not have that problem with the lining while pulling wallet out.

Really, it's only the slightest bit smaller than an accordion, and it's fine. So I guess I'd need to know exactly what wallet wer'e talking about?

And also alternatively, as twilight said, the ones with the *non-zip* pocket in the middle, should not have a problem.

I emphasize again ... even the zip around accordion *DOES* work with the length of the bag. It's just that pulling it in and out, in the zippered pockets, pulls the lining with it. So if we're talking about the style with a middle pocket without the zipper, it should work fine in that middle pocket without dragging along the lining.

Thank you! Usually I carry the slim envelope style wallets so I think it would do ok. Although I did get the hawk feather wallet with the turnlock in the front an the pop up pouch in the back and it's pretty darn big and I'm looking forward to using it. You have been very helpful. I do get sooooo frustrated when I feel like I'm cramming stuff in my bag so maybe I'll go for the small in black and be on the lookout for the mini in a fun color.

Oh heavens, yes, you should be fine with slim envelope. I was using a gathered zip accordion ... which is even large among accordions due to the thickness of the gathers! And if you use wallet and sunglasses in an open middle section, you really should be fine

That's oxblood mini Borough ... one of the very first colors when the bag first came out. (At the time, they were not doing an intermediate "small size".)
So that would be oxblood mini, and of the original kind that had three zippers.

No offense to anyone that has made the mini work for them.... but I am a small bag person, and I found the mini borough annoyingly too tight. It has all of these pockets, but is so skinny, that it made them feel relatively useless to me. I loved the look, but didn't keep it for that reason.

I did get the small floral later, and that is much better. It is an odd bag because it seems like it is kind of large for me, but it is a little tight inside, so it needs to be that size to help things fit well. I do like that one...I don't carry it as often as my others, but I did keep it.

Well I ordered one and we will see how she works out! She is just so perfect looking. But if she's too tight, back to the outlet she goes!!!

I am a big bag kinda girl but I absolutely love my mini borough. I have it in gold and while I find that I have to downsize a lot to carry her, it is well worth it. I'm usually able to fit my LV zippy wallet (snug but it fits), my keys and my lipgloss. I also have the small floral borough and in that one I am able to carry my sunglasses or an umbrella. I hope the mini works for you because it's truly a beautiful bag!

I Have the medium and it feels small. I wish I could have bought a bigger size but, oh well. I love the look of her too much to not use it

I just wanted to add here that I have a mini borough in oxblood colorblock and wearing it crossbody style it hangs a bit higher than i like (5'4 and curvy). In the photo above it hangs really low on the celeb (can't remember her name) but she is really really petite.

So I took it to the cobbler to add a hole to the strap. I would have preferred to add two holes but Coach makes the straps so darn short there was only just enough room for one more. I would not wear this over a coat which is annoying as it is perfect for fall outfits.

Coach, will it kill you to add a couple inches to your straps? I hope Vevers has made changes with the new generation of crossbody bags.

Agree! I'm only 5'3" and it doesn't hang that low on me. But I do love my mini borough! Gorgeous bag!!!
