I would buy the damn bracelet just to spite the SA. It's a beauty!
YOU are the fighter...YOU are the survivor...YOU are the WINNER! YOU call the shots..............
I would go with the original plan that gave you and your DH such joy and inspiration. Love this idea!
Screw the SA...don't let her rain on your parade! [emoji120]

I am so sorry that this happened to you. I am hoping that her joke was not meant in a mean spirited way. My dad would make that kind of joke. We spent a lot of time this past year at Sloan Kettering. He was diagnosed with the same type of cancer that took my grandmother/mom's mom when I was 7 and she was 32. And my uncle who lived next door the month after my dearest cousin graduated law school but two months before her wedding. I was 19. So there was so much baggage when we got the diagnosis. My mom was an absolute mess. It was a death sentence because that is what she knew. But so far so good. My dad made bad jokes all of the time because he was trying to be strong, but also Ill equipped to handle the mental turmoil others, such as me, would experience. I rarely think people are cruel in these instances. I think that just about everyone comes to the table with emotions and some simply are incapable of dealing with them so they deflect, perhaps in truly tasteless ways. Please don't let it ruin this beautiful moment you are sharing with your husband and will share each year. Stay strong and healthy.
