So I sent BF to local Bloomie. The 40% + 20% deal is still going on. These are all Varina at around 52% off. The patent ones, which he ended up purchasing for me, are $525 discounted to $252. You have to pay now and pick up Thursday though. They seem to have a lot of sizes left.

For my local Bloomingdales in Whiteplains, they have plenty of sizes left from what I saw for the patent one. Hard to find sizes like 6 or 6.5 were available. Yet, for the laser cut one, there were only 3 pairs left, and I scored the last sz 6. No idea what the other 2 are.

You may be able to ask for inventory, they may be able to check and see which stores carry them :)

I just had the best customer service over the phone at Bloomingdales Soho location. I was calling to see if they had my size in stock that the 59th street location did not have. He was so great and offered to order the size over the phone for either pick up or free shipping. He applied the 40% and 20% and shipped it to NJ for no tax. I ended up ordering 3 more pairs.


If anyone is interested in calling the Soho location (212-729-5900 ext 5159) and asking for Joshua on the phone, he will do you justice. You sort of need to know what particular items are considered pre-sale, obviously not the classics. The Carla in new bisque/gold patent was part of the sale (web id: 673629), which I was surprised at, since I thought it would be considered classic.


If you can't catch him by dialing the soho number directly, please pm me for his personal cell number. Paying it forward!

What did you order other than the Carla? Curious to know what else they have. Totally debating on the Carla now.
