Very frustrated I finally got everything ordered last then they send me an email today saying I have to call to verify my card. Then they say I need to put it on a different card because they can't verify my PHONE NUMBER. It's a chase visa seriously I said fine hung up and I guess I'll be gordering from Nordstroms and giving them my $1000!!! Disgusted
 
That is what i did. I was disappointed that i could not stack the promo code. So i live chatted with Nordstrom to see if they would do price match. They could only do the 20% off which is fine to me. I only want one item and it's a small order. I still consider i save $$ because i don't have to buy extra crap that i don't need just to get free shipping.

Same thing happened to me. I can understand that they trying to protect customer too but their reps are so rude and offer no solution at all. I am done with bloomies.

I know it's insane. I could have used a different card but why should I have to. Then they ask if I had a Bloomingdales credit card or if I lived close to a Bloomingdales. No I don't want your store card and I live in Kentucky so no I don't live close. Maybe it's so we will all have to use their store card.
 
Anyone know how long you have to return something you bought online? I tried reading the FAQ on bloomie's website, but it didn't mention anything. For some reason I thought it was 30 days for returns, but maybe that has changed?

I hear you! Last year I also had issues with credit card verification, but I wasn't notified by email til a day later.. and once I called I found out they essentially CANCELLED my order and of course the items I wanted were sold out.

I'm probably going to cancel the card I opened last year, i feel like the events don't really justify keeping it.

The tip here is that you make your purchase using the 20% off. AND THEN start a new live chat and ask the rep to apply 10% to the pre-existing order:)

In my case, my rep applied both codes to my order. She told me to make the purchase first without any codes and then to give her my confirmation number. I stayed on live chat with her through the whole checkout process and saw that she applied the 30% afterward on my order's status page. The price adjustment showed up in my bank account about three business days later.
