is this the event where anyone with a bloomies card get an automatic 15% off items, not incl exclusions? both online and in store i believe.

One day home sale is 2/13/13. If you can wait until then it might be worth it!
The next sale is the MLK weekend sale. All departments will have markdowns, not just mens. The last week of Jan is their Last Chance Sale. After that most clearance merchandise is pulled from the floor, and stores switch to spring merchandise.
As for price matching, Bloomingdales stores will price match with prices on their website, but they generally won't match with other stores.
They will actually price match Norstroms, Saks, NM. After matching they will also apply one promo code if you have it. I was able to price match with Nordstrom for something and then they agreed to apply a 20% code I had. Love Bloomies!!!
