It's literally just come out in the UK (£1230)

I have a suede (nubuck actually) Soho Disco, so an xtra leather camera bag still appeals and I was always a little over-conscious of the running GG (even though I just bought the Aphrodite - go figure). I prefer the logo moulded underneath as per SD though, but I really like the colours of this line-up.

I’ve just purchased the black one so fingers crossed x
I got the Matelasse green shoulder bag at Christmas and love it so you can never have too many lol x

What do you think of the Aphrodite x

Aphrodite, is just what I needed, glamorous but still low-key and the leather is just amazing in Capra (goatskin)

Darn! Not here in Japan yet. This looks like a more subtle version of the YSL camera bag (which I think is a bit too similar to the YSL I already have). I like it, but...alas. (Still mad we didn't get the small brown Blondie! I wanted that one so badly.)

Hi! I commented on another post about this. I saw the Blondie in person a few weeks ago while I was using my Disco Soho. The sales associate said the sizes are identical and that this is a replacement for Disco Soho. The price went up from $1490 to $2055 USD and the only improvement that I noticed is that Blondie has a leather loop to hold down the end of the adjustable strap :shocked:. I think the tassel on Disco Soho looks better (it's got the light gold cap). The strap for Blondie was a tiny bit thicker than Disco Soho, but only noticeable when you compare them side-by-side. I tried on the red Blondie and it was beautiful. I saw it on 2/25/2023 and the sales associate said that it was also the day Disco Soho was removed online. Attached are the screenshots from their website for comparison.

Usually it goes the other way :lol:

I went to a pre-view of the Diana. The bags had tickets inside, hadn't even been out on the floor yet, preview for Private Clients only. The price went up from the ticket price that day and all the SAs had to apologise - it was so embarrassing for them.

I guess for the Blondie shoulder bag - they want to sell some units baby, and someone told them - if you want it to be the new Disco (which launched at around £550 in 2015) you better make it comparible to the Marmont Camera (and the Saint Laurent Lou Camera).

Either that or they saw us complaining on the Blondie thread ;)

I remember when the disco was about $800 (or was it $895?) I bought my rose beige for around that price. And years ago when Saks would have the private sales for 50% off I snagged a red disco for $400+.
