Bleu nuit vs Raisin

I’m in the minority but I find resin a ‘mature’ colour. Agree on previous poster that I wouldn’t reach for it in summer
That said, given your wardrobe I do think resin would compliment it more. I think the pic you posted is lovely

I need your help in deciding the right Birkin color for me because I am totally torn and unable to decide since a couple of days.
I have a chance to buy a Birkin 30 Resin GHW in Clemence leather or Bleu Nuit 30 PHW in togo.
I really can’t decide the color, I do know that I want a color that will not look dated or I will not bored of, the one that can complement my wardrobe. I wear dark blue, dark grey or black mostly. With a plain colored scarf, mostly brown, dark blue or pinkish/purplish.
I can try Resin since I got for trial but not the Bleu Nuit.
its not that I dont like Resin, I do (I love Bleu Nuit too ) and I love GHW more than PHW, but what’s stopping me is if Raisin looks better with me blue dress (this is what I wear outside normally) does Resin clash with dark blue dress? I don’t want to look cool or edgy, I just want to look decent. I am not a fashionable person

First of all, you ARE a fashionable person, you will be carrying a Hermes bag!
I like the Raisin color. Hermes does color so well, and the handbag looks beautiful on you (but you really can't go wrong with either color.) I am looking forward to seeing what you decide!
I chose to stick with Raisin, I like how rich and warm it is and its has GHW.

Congratulations! I was just going to recommend raisin over blue nuit.
First of all, I LOOOOOOOVE raisin with your scarves! From your posts I was concerned that it might be a little bit out of your comfort zone, but I also see raisin as a neutral, just not as plain as a lot of neutrals...a little more fun. I realize that raisin might not be as "safe" as the blue, but it's one of those colors that looks good with quite a lot. Also, I don't see one color as more summery than the other - if that becomes s a concern, keep an eye out for a lighter twilly that works with raisin that you can add in the warmer months.

I LOVE the Raisin on you.
I think it looks much more elegant and interesting on you than the BN with PHW would look.
I think in the summer as well you could wear it with a stronger colour scarf in the pink/mauve family and it would still look fantastic.

So glad you chose the Raisin. My Raisin bag is my favorite and I find it a great neutral.
