I love both of those!Sorry I forgot to say the one with the front pocket is 11127, but you probably figured that out from the link![]()
I think these are a little lighter weight than the Lily. They are a good size without being super heavy. I especially like the one pocket design. The nice thick strap is very comfortable. The Ali is also really nice. My favorite Legacy is the haversack, but most of those are suede.I love both of those!
Thank you whateve! I've been drooling over the bags in that thread! I think the shoulder bags might be a tad small for what I'm looking for - although I don't carry a lot, I like to have room to stick my ipad mini or water bottle or snack in, and I worry those shoulder bags wouldn't be big enough. I love the look of the Ali but I don't think I want a flap, as I've had that type of bag before and didn't love it. I typically keep my bag unzipped as long as I'm in my car or my office, so the east/west style works well for me. Not sure what the Lily would do if I left it unzipped. Maybe I could zip one side and leave the other unzipped for the things I need quick access to?I think these are a little lighter weight than the Lily. They are a good size without being super heavy. You should check out the reference library to see all the styles. http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-reference-library/post-your-legacy-pieces-here-156435.html
The Legacy satchel 11130 would be perfect for leaving unzipped. It has a separating zipper at the top but the double handles keep it closed while you are carrying it, unless you are in an area with pickpockets. The handles are long enough to carry on your shoulder. There is also Mandy that is similar.Thank you whateve! I've been drooling over the bags in that thread! I have two. One in black and one in the natural vachetta. They are heavy, but stunning bags! I only use them when I am not carrying a bag for a long period of time.
I use them more now that I don't have two little hands to hold every time I leave the house.
Thanks for sharing. That is such a gorgeous bag. I really really want one. But I can tell the straps would be too short for comfortable shoulder wear, especially in the winter with heavier clothes. I did see that you can order a longer strap to use with it, so that would be a good option. With my Molly, I carry by the handles most of the time, but use the shoulder strap probably 30% of the time, so I know I like to have that option. I'd love to see the Lily with a shoulder strap attached.Once in awhile I carry them on my shoulder if I have my hands full, but typically I carry them like I would a tote or satchel like the pic below). I always keep the zippers closed unless I am in a rush and dash out of a store. These are more like "destination bags." I wear them if I am going someplace I know my bag might be parked for a time (restaurant, work, movies). I have also learned to keep the contents on the lighter side. Some bags I just toss everything in and while the Lilly holds a good amount, I am more selective.

I think that is gorgeous and I don't even like fabric bags! Wow that's pretty. I think if I could get a Lily at a good price, I just wouldn't worry too much about the fact that it's not really a shoulder bag. I just love it.I have a denim lily (#11579) trimmed in vachetta leather. The bag is heavier but I love the size. I don't find it to be a comfortable shoulder bag and think it is too wide for a shoulder strap personally. I carry it as a satchel. One of my favorite features of this bag is the front pocket and back zip pocket for my phone. I love the organization. Both the iPad and iPad mini fit. When I carry it, people love it or hate it. The denim is different and not for everyone. I personally think it is fun.
