Black tights for light skirts?

I have a few light color winter skirts but I'm stumped on tights color.
One is a cream skirt the other light blue plaid.
Would black tights work or do I need to buy some other color?

Black might work as the contrast between black & cream work also a pattern might work with the cream skirt
Light blue plaid might think a beige tight will look nice

With the cream, I think cream tights would look good if you're wearing a neutral or light color top for a soft wintery look. Would actually look fine witth any color top if you wanted pop of color like red. I think you can pair black tights with cream skirt if you plan on wearing black shoes/boots and black top. Attaching photos for reference of looks I think are chic. I think a houndstooth top or jacket would look good with the cream/ black combo too.

Blue plaid conjures up many things in my imagination so I would definitely need to see photo.

Um haven't got that far yet lol! As you can see I haven't worn these skirts really because I can't figure out what to pair them with.

Here is the skirt I probably will wear it with a cream sweater.

This is the cream sweater skirt , I have no idea what to wear with it. I thought initially of wearing it with a red or dark pink sweater but then I'm not sure.
Idk I'm so used to wearing black in the winter but now I have some colored items and I'm lost lol

I asked because I'd likely pair dark tights with dark shoes! It'll be super easy to wear light skirts with dark tights imo
Or a cream skirt with monochromatic tights with pretty much any color shoe, especially blues/browns

Here is the skirt I probably will wear it with a cream sweater.

I think this one can go either way (light or dark) like white/cream or navy blue. It might be a bit much but you could even go orange/ red for fun (hard to tell what color is on my phone) though if you did that, I would go with a white top.

Oh and best place to order non black tights online please? I miss the hosiery store where I used to live, nothing like that here.

If you wear black tights, I'd wear black shoes/boots; it's why shoe color was important to me
The top doesn't have to be same color as tights, treat them like men's dress socks/shoes if that helps simplify. You're overthinking!

@Swanky so I have black shoes, nude suede or light pink suede loafers that I tend to wear most often.
If I wear the black loafers , then black tights make sense; but for the nude or light pink then idk what color tights.

It's cold here too which is why I'm digging out tights instead of going bare legged
