Loewe or Hérmes? An Evelyne or Amazona are both gorgeous - not to say that f.e. Mulberry Bayswater Buckle Willow aren't. The Bays Buckle is a nice, open style. The Willow is very subdued, as are most other Mulberry bags; a tiny tree logo on the postman's lock, that is it. Willow also has a front pocket that's actually a clutch.

I think hermes is about out of my range but I like the idea of mulberry. I think she would love the willow.

Wow, what an amazing friend you are.

I'm thinking there aren't that many Chanel bags even in that price range anymore but you could check, perhaps a Mini.

Thinking about smaller bags, an occasion/eve bag would be appropriate for a special gift. How about the Miss Dior mini pouch in python, Gucci Interlocking in hand-coloured python or a special BV Knot clutch?

That's a good idea, she does own a few bv knots but i didnt include her clutches since she has those and a few others from ysl and judith leiber.

What a fab friend you are! I don't think you can go wrong with anything from Chanel tbh..
If not I think the Celine Box bag would be a nice addition to her bags.

She is not a fan of the classic chanel chain that is on most of the bags. otherwise chanel would have been my go to.

The alma and the sdj are certainly good options. I saw a burgundy sdj I thought she would love, I will also look at tods, I don't think she knows a lot about their bags, I think she would love that they are so understated. I also forgot to say, She is an incredible,loyal and generous friend to me, I have known her since high school, on my last birthday she gave me a VCA alhambra pendant.
