A little update! Two days ago my boyfriend and I put a deposit on a RG Cartier LOVE bracelet in my size, in MINT CONDITION, AND the old screw system!! [emoji322][emoji324][emoji92][emoji323]
I had visited the Cartier store numerous times and couldn't get over the idea of such an important bracelet falling off (in the past year I've gone sky-diving, been on dozens of roller coasters, swum in a couple of oceans, went hang-gliding ... You get the idea).
We're hoping to pick it up tomorrow or Tuesday (they're closed for Memorial Day weekend [emoji631]).
It's in my size, in my dream metal, with my dream screw system ... and it's unworn. [emoji24][emoji7]
I'm going with my BF to ensure its authentic, and to try it on, BUT then he gets to hold onto it for as long as he wants until he's ready to officially pop the question / make an announcement.
We've been together for almost a decade, and I don't think that officially getting married isn't going to make a big difference to us, but it'll be a good legal step towards ensuring ourselves all the rights a joined couple should have.
Thanks for all your input, and support towards the RG decision - it definitely played in the back of my head reconfirming my decision. I plan on buying a WG JUC in the coming years - so, it'll be nice to have a different color (permanent) LOVE bracelet.[emoji6]
