Personally I love it! But as others have said, decide on your preferred undertone and that will tell you which neutral is for you.
Birkin Beige Marfa (need advice).

At first I was a little hesitant as well, but it turns out to be the perfect addition, as it's right in-between Gold and Etoupe. You can't really see the olive tone, sometimes it even looks very grey and Etain-like. It's an interesting neutral you won't see around much, unlike all of the other Gold and Etoupe bags... It matches perfectly with creme and white outfits, but also with black and darker outfits due to the black resin.
I love it! It is like a beige version of vert toundra. It’s definitely something you don’t see everyday.
You could email a smaller file size version to yourself, then try to use that.
It reads green to me and, if you have seen it and dislike it in indoor light (which is going to make it more green) then I think you should pass as you will dislike the colour of your bag a lot of the time!

You might not have time for this but if the boutique has a Calvi or Bastia in Beige Marfa perhaps you could make a quick purchase, take it home, and work it through your closet. Yes, it’s a small size of leather, but if you find the color doesn’t thrill you it will be a less expensive mistake. And if it does, you’ve got a matching little SLG!
Personally, I like the color but it's not love for me. Just like because I like other H colors better and I already have Gris T. (which is somewhat similar to Marfa but without olive green undertones, see pics, maybe it helps) and Etain B which work better for me and my wardrobe. But that's me, if it's love for you and if you can make it work, then that's all that matters.
Only you can decide. And see if it works with your wardrobe/style. If you don't love it, pass. Wait for something that is love without doubts. If H. would offer you Etain for example, would you still have doubts or would you take it without any doubts? Also, are you planning to buy more Birkins, or is this one going to be your only one (for a long time)?

! It's definitely a rare color yes, my SA told me this many times) Which is exactly the reason, I almost said yes at the beginning, but then I thought about it well. They weren't happy when I said no at the end.

Very good comparison) I will say this, I like Etoupe and Gris T, then Beige Marfa. Here in the photo Marfa is better than Trench for my taste.But your Beige Marfa in your real photo I like very much. Can’t see green undertones, but on my photo green! Why?! So chameleon color!

I think you made the right decision and you'll be glad that you waited when the right bag comes along.
Don't worry about the SA, a good SA wants to see her/his clients happy with their purchases. And would not force a sale/or be unhappy when a customer declines a bag/item because the customer doesn't love it.

I think it depends on the hardware: Gold makes it looks warmer/ slightly olive
But I would wear this on weekends, which would match with my casual outfits
work outfits are cooler greys , and Palladium would have been better for that.
my SA told me that the etoupe in PHW looks too cold and miserable, and that this was a rare piece.
I am planning to keep, but not used to it yet.
