Bigger bags

To say Fashionphile and other consignors/resell shops are "lowballing" would mean they are giving "false" low price estimates for your bag when in reality Artsy and other larger bags are not yielding much in the secondary market. Their offers are most likely fair--not false. And, believe me I know how much we paid for these larger bags when they came out---but I don't see that holding on to them is going to help. IMO, their resell price and the offers being given by FP and others is not going to increase.

Did they give you a fair price? I'm going to Fashionphile on Saturday to get a quote/sell a bag. Just wondering if they are low-balling right now....
Yes very fair price for the Cabas. Tolerable for the Artsy considering its age and older model

Prices offered are contingent on the current amount of stock. For ex: They low balled me on the Boulogne last month but when I went back this month they offered $350 more than the original offer.

I am tired of small bag.. I am tired of playing tetris all the time.. Most of the time, I can take out stuff easily but having hard time to put it back in my bag especially when I am in a hurry and ended throwing my stuff on shopping bag (and leave my small bag empty). Now I am using my bigger bag more and more. I don’t care about the trend, I am wearing what I like and what is comfortable to me.. :P

I definitely use my larger bags during the work week, but I'll use a smaller bag on the weekends when I don't need as much.

To all Artsy sellers: Maybe you are lucky now and can make a higher price as it is discontinued at LV. I’ve already recognized there are less Artsys on Ebay etc. to get hold off….

I have not. I am even considering selling my Artsy (never carried, LV replaced my old one with the new model about a year ago) and my OntheGo GM. I believe I carried the OntheGo once. Bought it for travel during the pandemic but now I’m back to flying so I never use either handbag.

I will admit though, when I took them out of the dustbags today to take pics I was torn because they are practically brand new. But what is not being used must go.
I don't think big bags are out of style and they definitely aren't going away. I haven't carried my Neverfulls in a while, but that is because I use my OnTheGo GM all the time!! I carry my laptop everywhere and it fits that and then I carry my Toiletry Pouch 26 inside to keep my small items contained. I also use my OnTheGo GM as my "personal item" for plane travel. I haven't had any problem putting it under the seat and it holds a ton!! ...and if I'm traveling for fun, I put my OnTheGo PM inside of it while I'm on the plane...and then I have a smaller bag for going out...and my LVs don't have to be checked.

I receive a quote from myGemma yesterday for $1100 for a like new Artsy. I received it in 2022 as a swap from LV for my old Artsy. Never used, still has all the protective stickers. I passed on their offer.

I was never in the trend of mini-micro, as they are not practical for everyday use, as glasses, keys, phone and wallet won't fit, let alone a small bottle of water. A BB size out for dinner or a quick errand, this is as small as I go. Medium bags with a strap are a savior for carrying things needed. Large is ok. Very large is just for travel, for me

This!!! I totally agree with you. Am tired of having to put bigger things randomly in a shopping tote when I find myself making random purchases when I'm out with my small bag. Sometimes i end up juggling 3 different bags when they could have all fit in 1. The only limit is how comfortable my big bags are when going out.

Small bag is great for casual or dressier outings, but big is always useful for work, travel, adventures that need more stuff carried around.. I also enjoy carrying a big bag around but just having wallet keys and phone in it to keep it light.

I love my big bags such as On-The-Go GM, Neverfull GM, Gucci Ophidia, and medium size bag such as Neverfull MM, Speedy 30, Montsouris GM etc, they are so easy to use, fits my full size wallet and full size iPad even MacBook Pro when need to! I can’t imagine without these large bags, what bags can I use? of course I can use Tumi , long champ but they are not as sexy, hahaha
