That is pretty but I see what you mean about the texture.
Is the leather dried out or super thin? Or is it actually glued on top of a fabric layer? That is frustrating. The wrinkles you showed look a bit like the front pocket of my Havana hobo. Oh and I would ask for an exchange for one with a straight nameplate! That would drive me nuts.

Looks like we're cut from the same cloth re: things being straight. When we were remodeling our home, I drove my contractor crazy telling him things weren't straight. There were many time when the level came out and voila, I was always right! We always had a good laugh!

So, I Am away for a bit, so cannot answer your questions about the leather. It truly feels and looks like paper!!

This order was a mixed bag.
The Bankers Bag is georgeous and deluxe feeling. It even has a dustbag. I might use it as a sleeve as it fits my 13" Macbook air.
The cuff is really pretty and I'm glad i got but but it was packed folded in half around a large stud as shown tightly wrapped in tissue paper. I hope it relaxes.
The mission tablet case came wrapped in plastic and is I think brand new but it has numerous dents and scuffs all over the front and back. I figured out that the dents on the front are from the tags. Not sure about the ones on the inside or the back. If I had bought at a higher price or for a gift ti would be going back. It's very soft and I'll probably use it for papers and small notebooks.

Yes, HH did get back to me and offered to take back the bag for store credit. They said the texture of the bag is normal considering the printing process. I've not made up my mind on what to do and appreciate their response.

Mothbeast- On your mission tablet sleeve, is the last hole the only one you can put the pin through that doesn't cause the warpy buckled effect? I noticed that on my tablet sleeve and on the front pocket straps for the phillipe tote- it was really weird, the last holes should be the very first, tightest fit ones on the straps with additional ones after for bulkier stuff..
