You are right.. I guess I just need to get used to it.. I LOVE my bags though and this does not prevent me from enjoying them..

I know a lot of men who carry bags! They have keys, a wallet, a cell phone, a kindle or ipad or some such electronic gadget, a small notebook... and of course my more stylish male friends carry hair care products with them.
I find Chanel bags to be extremely heavy with the chain strap, and am selling my WOC because even for a tiny bag, it's heavy to me.
Different strokes!

aprilzephyr said:Indeed! You bring up great points re Chanel chain & bag-carrying guys. Wow your guy friends are so prepared! I can't imagine my friends ever carrying grooming products with them - though they often ask for my chapstick when we're out... hmm. I never noticed the weight of the chain since the end weight is considerable less heavy than my previous big bag - I think the smaller size just forced me to carry stuff I actually will use and not to fuss too much about the "just in case" things.
The guys I know, who do tote around a briefcase or backpack with laptop during the day, easily downsize what they carry during a night out and better yet fit all of it in their pockets, whereas my girlfriends and I feel that we can't. Perhaps the real culprit is that women's clothing (even ones with pockets) can't hold as much and still look flattering (and I've truly tried!)![]()
