^ People still glue and tape on their lace fronts? I didn't know that but then again I'm not a wig/weave expert. I thought people used clips to secure their wigs these days.
sometimes looking at how she wears them she pins them down, but when I see the upclose pics and I look closely at her hairline I know she is using an adhesive to keep them secure, thats why they look so realistic. A wig that is secure with just pins wont look as realistic as one secured with glue and applied properly

I don't mind all the photos she shares, although I have said in the past how I prefer the days when her and Jay kept things to themselves and I do think she overshares pictures these days, but the main problem for me is the photoshopping and distorting of most of her pictures. I get that she's human and is entitled to have body hang-ups and parts she doesn't like about herself, we all do, but she is a global superstar with many young fans looking up to her and it's just not a positive thing for her to be putting out there. It's simple, if you take a picture and you're not happy with it and feel the need to heavily photoshop yourself then maybe it's a better idea to just not share the picture to the entire world.

Agree.

How can you sing "Perfection is a disease of a nation" & "Pretty Hu-uh-uh-rts" and then turn around and photoshop your pictures to present and maintain an image of "bodily perfection" and flawlessness.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Who knew Kim and Beyoncé had that much in common...

The photoshopping etc and what-not is exactly why Annie Lennox branded Beyonce's form of "feminism" as feminism-lite. Paying lip service and nothing else.

So what do you make of someone like Beyonce? She recently performed on the MTV Video Music Awards and proclaimed herself a "feminist" during her set.

I would call that "feminist lite." L-I-T-E. I'm sorry. It's tokenistic to me. I mean, I think she's a phenomenal artist - I just love her performances - but I'd like to sit down (with her). I think I'd like to sit down with quite a few artists and talk to them. I'd like to listen to them; I'd like to hear what they truly think.

I see a lot of it as them taking the word hostage and using it to promote themselves, but I don't think they necessarily represent wholeheartedly the depths of feminism - no, I don't. I think for many it's very convenient and it looks great and it looks radical, but I have some issues with it. I have issues with it. Of course I do. I think it's a cheap shot. I think what they do with it is cheap and ... yeah. What can I tell you? Sex always sell. And there's nothing wrong with sex selling, but it depends on your audience.
