When I think of feminist, Beyonce never comes to mind.

I've never heard her speak on it yet she has somehow become synonymous with the word.

I googled and I found an essay she wrote on the matter. But I am not sure if I believe she actually wrote it.

She announced an collab with Topshop today. "Parkwood Topshop Athletic", a 50-50 joint venture company by Beyoncé & Topshop.

I knew she would be partnering with them eventually, she loves Topshop....a line with them makes sense.

Topshop is SO overrated in my opinion! I keep going to see if something is wrong with me because so many of my friends plus celebrities foam at the mouth over them. The styles are uninspired and the quality is generally poor.

I agree. My bestie loves herself some Topshop in the spring/summer and most of the time I'm like eh. Every blue moon I'll see something I like and I'll buy (the white two piece Bey wore for Easter this year) and they had some really cute printed shorts I almost bought but for the most part I'm generally unimpressed.

Their pieces seem pedestrian. I like them but not enough to shell out that amount for them being cheaper material and all. I'd rather get the same thing from H&M at half the price or less.

Agree, not to mention with the poor quality of their stuff, they sure are overpriced. If I want something expensive I have no problem paying the price if it's good or great quality, but if the quality is cheap then I want to pay a cheap price, nothing annoys me more than an overpriced tag on cheap quality stuff and this is Topshop all over, unless there is a sale on! :cool:
