You're absolutely right. She never had her own sense of style. People always told her what to wear, so now she just goes after the silhouette or tries to be hipster and trendy.

I was just going to say the same thing. The braids pictured above in her DC days are beautiful and she looks gorgeous. Very tasteful and pretty. The braids she has now are really quite ugly and just look messy.
