Thank you everyone so much for the recommendations for white for French however I would like a Stark White color for the french, does anyone have any recommendations?

Stark whites have been suggested (Alpine Snow, Blanc, Cream Puff). What exactly are you looking for?

Shephora by OPI in Ah Haa Moment is a very bright white and long wearing because it's by OPI.

I believe the kicker for bright white tips that really POP is a new product called Seche Bright. These are the folks who make the Seche Vite top coat that dries fast. The Seche Bright brightens up the natural nail bed and makes your white tips really bright. I love this stuff. Available online or I bought mine at Beauty Brands. Does not seem to be readily available at any beauty, nail polish supply store.

It is a nail polish not a treatment. use over your white tips and top with topcoat

Inexpensive and worth every penny! I swear by this especially since everyone who sees my nails think I got some expensive french manicure at a salon every time LOL. Plus, you can find it at any drugstore :)

I used OPI Alpine Snow. China Glaze also has one called White on White. Sally Hansen makes a French manicure kit that comes with a white polish that has a thinner brush to make painting the tips easier. You might want to look into that as well.

/\ I get mine at Walgreens but I think I have also seen them at Wal-mart as well. They come in a blue package and are usually found on an end cap or with the Sally Hensen nail stuff.

I would like to find a white nail polish with a thin brush to help me touch up my French V shaped manicures. I am currently using STRIPE however I find that if I touch my nails the polish will chip off in a few hours. I have tried even using:seche vite top coat, nailtiques, rejuvacote and with no top coat and always in a few hours it chips off.

I recently invested in a mini-ultra violet light dryers and it's been the best thing. If it chips within a hours, perhaps the polish is too thick? I don't know, just a guess..

I will try and thin out the polish. I would like to buy one of those mini ultra violet lights as well however I need one with european voltage.

I use the YSL french manicure kit, which I like a lot. The white pen, once you get used to it, provides very good control and precision. It usually lasts me about a week, and I'm pretty picky about not wearing chipped polish.

I specifically use the YSL pens because I like the stripe to be much thinner than the actual white portion of my nails, and the YSL allows me to get it right the first time instead of having to go back and redo one that got messed up:

I had problems with chipping french manicure too, but then I found one from a really cheap brand called essence and for me it worked. No chipping for nearly one week at the beach/water/sand...
