I've had the Oscar Blandi dry shampoo in the powder form (not the spray) for awhile, but didn't really care for it. I was applying it near my roots and then brushing my hair so the powder would absorb. This method just wasn't doing a thing. So the other day I pulled it out and started playing with it - I squirted some powder in my hands, rubbed them together, and ran my fingers underneath my hair, starting from my neck to my scalp.

It seems to work a lot better this way!

I have the Ojon. A lot of people complain that it ran out too quickly. I noticed that if I didn't hold the button down the right way, only air came out of the can, but no product. It works okay for me, but I would like to try Klorane.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the dry shampoo by SAMY! It's like.... totally cheap at any drugstore (I found mine at Ulta, but I see SAMY stuff everywhere) It smells GREAT, and it really, really works. I was never "into" not washing my hair every day, but this stuff is unbelievable. On Sirius Cosmo radio, they recommended it and that's why I grabbed it. Love it!

What's your favorite dry shampoo? My hairdresser recommended Bumble & Bumble since I have dark brown hair. However, since it's a black powder, it seems like it would be messy. I thought about Ojon or Oscar Blandi. Any other rec's? Thanks!

I tried the bumble and bumble spray one for dark hair...STAY AWAY!!! seriously it a MESS, plus you cant touch your hair without your hands turning black either, imagine what it would do to your clothes/pillowcases and such. Oscar Blandi is prety good

I actually like the old standby pssst (so 70s!). it can be found at drugstores. it's cheaper than the other ones, and i think it gives the same result (i've tried a bunch).

I use the Bumble and Bumble brown hair one however, I usually just throw my hair up after using it so I don't get stuff all over my hands.

I have used a Stila powder and it works well but smells a bit too flowery for my taste.

Typically I just use Jonathan Redo spray and then blowdry with my head upside down for a minute or two, tousle, and go.

I like the Oscar Blandi but the lemon-y smell is a bit too much. I smell like a freshly cleaned public restroom after I use it. It also makes me sneeze. What does the Bumble one smell like?
