Wallet is the most classic 'safe' gift. LV Eclipse is cool more so than the Burberry.
The Oura ring Gucci version is nice, but these smart rings or even smart watches can cause undue stress and anxiety cos you're worrying about your stats.
The Ray-Bans are good if he's into tech. I like the transparent version.

Thank you all for sharing your opinions. We are going to go with my original choice which is the black LV wallet with his name hot stamped inside. This is the most timeless and most useful, as it's something he can use everyday, for many years to come. I got his mother's buy-in last night at dinner. This design seems cool for a young man and won't go out of style. I thought about holding onto the Oura ring for future gift but am going to send back after seeing pics online about the stealth color scratching.
Will share pics after we pick it up. My SA has it on hold and offered to hot stap so it will be ready for us but I think my daughter may like to be involved in the "experience".

Thanks so much, you're always so sweet! Just got home from LV... Here's the wallet and we got the hot stamp personalization on the interior. SA and I thought silver would look best but DD thought a color would be more fun. His name is Robbie so instead of monogram initials, we thought it was cute to spell out Rob. SA also threw in a number of cologne samples and gave me a couple of glasses of champagne while we waited. Don't mind photo taken in my lap on the drive home lol
